We had a 5 year old so the extra room allowed him to go to bed undisturbed. The area it's located downtown smells like pee, police station across street. The building itself is an ugly pig wearing makeup. The staff fries to be high end but like everything about this hotel, it's superficial.. Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere or go a little further away from downtown for better value. I was not happy with the first day separate booking as they gave me wrong booked room condo instead of King room and cause bad smell and crowed room but very happy with the second and third days another booking with right booked room.
This hotel is probably the best value you can get in Montreal. It has direct access underground to the nearest subway and it is the big subway intersection for all the subway lines. The hotel is within close proximity with the centre of downtown and other major attractions.

Staffs were just super helpful in showing around the city and very nice. Hotel is a bit older but extremely well maintained, ive seen newer hotels that has less maintenance. Its best to just leave ur car and take subways. Swimming pool is standard but heated. Awesome experience in Montreal and great stay. Will definitely come back.

Impossible to sleep. The receptionist very kindly helped me find a room and made every effort to keep me on the same floor to keep the hassle of moving to a minimum. I had paid for a loft and my first room was great; the sitting area felt separate from the sleeping area; lots of space, airy, good view etc. The room I was changed to was around half the size but the same category so they managed to squeeze all the same amenities into half the space, rendering the sitting area useless so it was essentially a standard room so that was pretty disappointing.
I could still hear the elevator though it was less obvious and I was able to sleep. Keep that in mind when booking unless you're a very sound sleeper. Otherwise good location and nice staff".
